East 德州 Baptist University celebrated Homecoming 2023 by welcoming alumni and friends to campus, 星期五, 10月27日, through Saturday, 10月28日.

B. H. Carroll Theological Seminary, which will officially become a part of East 德州 Baptist University in late 2024, is making a move from its offices in Irving to the location where it originally began—in downtown Arlington, 德州

The seminary’s offices will occupy a floor of First Baptist Church’s Wade Building, a six-story office building adjacent to the church’s main campus. The move also means B. H. Carroll’s annual Ph.D. 谈话, 毕业典礼, and other conferences will be held on site, for the first time since it left the location for Irving in 2015.

East 德州 Baptist University hosted its annual Calling Conference on Wednesday, 10月18日, for students called to vocational ministry. The conference gives students the opportunity to learn from current ministers serving in various ministry fields as they discuss the call on their own lives and how that calling is informing their current ministries.

East 德州 Baptist University welcomed generous donors and friends of the institution in celebration of the opening of the newly constructed Billy and Winky Foote Hall at Tiger Yard and the ETBU Tiger Ballpark during a ceremony held on 星期五, 10月13日.

East 德州 Baptist University’s School of Christian Studies and Humanities hosted the inaugural Lyceum: Forum for Christian Thinkers, 作家, and Scholars on Monday, 10月9日, in the Woods Great Room in the Ornelas Student Center. The new academic forum on ETBU’s campus, set to take place each fall semester, is designed to provide students, faculty and staff, and the local community an opportunity to hear from a prominent Christian scholar whose work is presented and discussed in the context of Christian humanities.
